A little late, but here are some fun activities we did for Valentine’s Day this year…
We used do a dot markers to colour these little books from 1+1+1 here. I know these are aimed at younger ages but they all wanted to do them! We stapled them into little books when we were done.
Another one with do a dot markers…we taped a white heart to a sheet of paper and then used are dot markers all around it, then peeled off the heart. Makes a nice picture, although Ladybug was upset with me for ruining hers by taking off the heart!
We strung beads on to red pipe cleaners and then shaped them into hearts. Ladybug calls hers a bracelet.
We made heart pencil toppers out of pipe cleaners. So easy! We’ll have to make green shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day.
Ladybug worked on this magnet page from Confessions of a Homeschooler.
Jitterbug did these number matching activities, also from COAH.
Ladybug did a matching activity, again from COAH.
And some puzzles from Over the Big Moon. Their Pre-K packs are really cute!
We had heart-shaped quesadillas for lunch, with some Valentine treats.
More matching. These are from Homeschool Creations.
And an easy tissue paper project using contact paper to hang in the window.
We did our regular schoolwork, too! It was fun to have some crafts in there, and I know the kids enjoyed it. We may have to add some more little crafts to our days.
