I'm actually an American. I married one of those crazy Australians. He went to university in America and that's where we met. We made our home in the USA for more than a decade. Then we began to feel the pull to come to Australia. A few things came together at just the right time that made us pretty sure that this was where we were supposed to be. We shed our belongings, packed up the kids (our oldest two were ages four and turning two at the time), and moved to Australia. Permanently, at least as far as we know (but you just never know what life has in store for you!). I was about six months pregnant with number three when we moved. Talk about a lot of life changes at one time!
But we made it. And we're here. And we’re settled. And this feels like home now. We had two kids in the US. We had two kids here in Australia.
